Gaming Computers

Updated August 2008

Here I present two Gaming Computers. The first rig is placed in the lower price range and the second is a high-end system. The first rig will work nicely for all the latest games and will handle video editing fairly good as well. The second rig will do anything you throw at it with ease. Fast and furious.

Comment: US$1532 for a Gaming Rig with Monitor is an attractive price. All the components are top-notch, just not the most expensive. Perfect for a novice gamer, because both the E8400 and the ASUS Motherboard are geared towards overclocking. Quite easily you could get this rig to hum at 3.6 GHz instead of 3.0 GHz. That's a noticable difference in performance.

Comment: Well over US$ 3000 is a lot for a computer anyway you see it, but for the hard-core gamer it makes sense. If you want the best well then it costs money. If you also want to play movies on this machine, then get a Blue-Ray Optical Drive as well. There are many more things you can add to this rig, but as it is now it works just fine.
