I created this website, because I wanted you to learn what advantages it has to build your own computer. I started out in the mid-eighties with a Commodore 64 and from there I have had several different PCs, beginning with a state-of-the-art 486DX in 1992 till now when I run a 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo. To build your own computer is actually quite easy as you will understand when you go through my free course. You will learn everything from the very basics down to the specific computer components like Motherboards, Video Cards and Power Supplies to some more advanced stuff.
I will show you the way! In order to cater to the different needs of every visitor, I have divided the free course into two paths and also separated the technicals, for those who like to the technical aspect of computer building. If you don't know much about computers and how they work just start reading and exclude the technicals and then when you feel that you know more comfortable take on each separate computer hardware component at a time.
